Keep your lawn mowed regularly and trim all shrubs to reduce habitat where rodents concentrate.
Remove brush and wood piles from the property
Move bird feeders away from the house
Trim up trees and brush to allow more sunlight into the property
Avoid landscape plants that deer like to eat
Seal up stone walls and small openings around your home to keep mice and chipmunks away
Create a 3’ border of wood chips or crushed stone between the lawn and the woods
